What I Did On My Summer Vacation

Sorry, everyone-- I know it's been about three years since I've updated here, but I was out of town on vacation. And I forgot to post that I was checking out for a bit right before I left... and though I swear I tried to post a blog entry from the town library upstate, I unfortunately was unable due to a combination of "we're having a lot of brown outs so they made us turn the computers off" and painfully slow internet connections that wouldn't load anything. No joke-- I really had to come back day after day to check if the computers were back on, and when they were and I was finally able to sit down to my allotted 30 minutes of internet time, I was only able to load eight (read: 8!) separate web pages. Sadly, Noodles Are Yummy was not one of them. Between having to shut down Internet Explorer and refresh and reload the different websites a thousand times, I hardly had a chance to do anything before the little old lady with the clipboard came by to tell me that my time was up and people were waiting for my seat. "Good luck," I muttered to a woman waiting for a turn on the computer, utterly frustrated, as I walked away.

But anyway, rest assured that I'm back in town for awhile, and in the next day or two I'll be posting photographs and highlights from the last two weeks of my life. Phew. That was some huge sigh of relief there!
