T.G.I.S.
It's a snow day today... so far, two feet and still falling. And as much as I love when it's a warm and sunny day, it makes me nervous not to have snow and cold in the winter in New York, you know? We've had a really mild winter so far this year with only an inch here and there of snow, so I knew it was coming sooner or later... and honestly, I'm glad. Because wh
en it feels like Florida up here from October through February, I get a little anxious-- like I've driven one too many miles in a non-fuel-efficient car and the ozone layer just couldn't handle it and now all because of me there will never be a cold winter in the nothern hemisphere ever again...Ok, so maybe not *that* anxious, but I still am kind of glad it finally snowed. So I've just been going out a little at a time trying to shovel out the cars and the driveway so I can go to work tomorrow. I'm actually surprised I wasn't called in to do overtime since I'm almost positive that nurses who live an hour away must have called in to say they couldn't come in. But they didn't call me for overtime, so I'm happily shoveling out the place and making some potato-barley-lentil-vegetable soup. Mmmm.
Anyhow, for all of you Noodle fans sitting inside with a mug of hot cocoa watching someone else shovel, enjoy the day!
