Back To Basics
Thank God... my life has finally started to settle down a bit. Work is work, enough said. On my off days though I've been seeing some of my girlfriends a bit more, which is nice since I haven't seen a bunch of them since before Christmas. I've been using my late grandmother's Cavalier and I think I might have made the decision that I'm fine with the granny-car and I don't want to buy another.
Oh! I also joined a gym the other day, and I'm sure that pretty soon I'll be giving you reports of which body parts have become rock hard. Ahem. But seriously, I really like working out and I miss it, kind of. I belonged to a gym in Bing and loved going there to work out alongside all the juiced-up meatheads... this gym doesn't have as many meatheads, but it does have a ton of facilities and a fantastic locker-room which I take advantage of all the time by walking around in it naked. Heh.
Anyway, her
e are some photos of my recent visit to Long Island when I went for a playdate with Susan and Lynn. It'd been a long time since the three of us had had a chance to hang out, and we had a blast. Wednesday night we ate and then met up with Jeremy who all three of us ended up knowing from Bing, but who we all really didn't know too well that the others knew him. It was weird. So the four of us went to a
bar/arcade place and had a really nice time catching up. Then Thursday Susan and Lynn and I went to eat again, and Lynn left for home. I was able to stay longer and had some really nice Susan-time. It was such a nice visit! Then yesterd
ay I drove up to New Haven to visit Laura. The two of us picked up Franzi from the library and went out to eat, then we found a new place to get bubble tea, stalked their friend Lila and all hung out for
a little while telling stories until it was time to go back home. Here you can see Laura with head in hands because her homework is hard and laborious... and you can see that Franzi isn't doing her homework because she's focusing too much on looking good to take a photograph for her United Nations ID card. Heh.Ok, so I just got home from Yale, and now I'm gonna head to the gym, I think. Again... think rock-hard Emily... it's true-- it's in the works!
